Wow! It has been a while since I have sit down to write something! I have truly missed the blog, but have enjoyed stepping back from all social media/technology stuff! We have had a great summer and I cannot believe that it is over! So here is what we have been up to...
*vacation- We went to the beach for a week! The ocean is Jagger's happy place! I absolutely love watching him run and jump through the waves. I try to soak that up as much as possible because I know in a few years he will be "too cool" for that! Hudson is still not too sure about it. He liked the beach in about 1 hour sessions! He would get tried and say, "I go to beach house", so he and I would go in the condo and hang out! We did a lot of cuddling! I am not complaining! ;)
*sleepovers- Jagger has had a few friends over this summer and it cracks me up because they want to stay up so late. I mean after midnight late, and believe me that is hard on this momma. Our bedtime is normally around 10, so this staying up late has me struggling!
*cuddles- Next week our life will completely change. I am going back to work for the first time in 7 years? or maybe longer. Hudson is going to start going to "daycare". I don't really consider it daycare because it's at a ladies home and she will have about 6 kids. I know he is going to love it! Jagger will start 1st grade. All that being said, I am trying to truly enjoy every second with my kids and that means extra cuddle time. Extra hugs. Extra time just being with them!
*ice cream- we have ate A LOT of ice cream this summer! I keep thinking that we will slow down or save it for a day here and there but we haven't so I guess we will keep doing what we love! ;)
*reading- I have actually read three books this summer. I read Where'd You Go, Bernadette? It was awesome. I loved it! The Girl on The Train It was different and very strange at times. The Husband's Secret...wasn't crazy about!
Have you done anything special this summer? Are you ready for back to school?
Hope you have a blessed day!
Lots of love
