Olympics on a Sunday afternoon!

Yay!! Today has been so great! This morning we got up early to get to church! I worked nursery registration so we were there at 8:15am-not a good time for Jagger! Thankfully he came out of it quick! Church was fun! We stayed down the nursery the whole time. I love being around the kids! It warms my heart because it's just a room of innocence! With all the nastiness going on in the world, the only worry they have is what toy to play with and when mommy is coming back to get them! It's just precious! I wish the whole world was like that instead of getting so caught up in nothing! (I can't believe the people that are throwing a fit over Chick-fil-a! I mean come on this man was stating his belief! He doesn't throw a fit when other people state their beliefs! This world is going down the drain and many are going to be in for a very rude awaking one day!) ok enough of that!!!! :) After church we had a yummy lunch at Matthew's grandmas and then it was time to spend time with our Faithful Friends group! I have been looking forward to this! I love all these women so much! It's nice knowing we share the same beliefs and we can come together for each other! We always have so much fun! Today we watched a movie! It is called The Grace Card! If you have not watched it, you need to! If you are brave enough make sure to grab some Kleenex! Another great thing is the movie is in Memphis, so it kind of hits at home because we were all familiar the places! Once the movie was over guess what time it was??? OLYMPIC time! I LOVE the summer Olympics! The swimming, diving, running, gymnastics! I think it is great! That is all we have done the whole afternoon until now! :) Athletes amaze me! Their bodies are so unreal! It's just all God gifted talent!!! We are all very excited because we are leaving for vacation on Friday! I know this week is going to creep by! I just keep thinking this time next week we will be relaxing in the condo! I am really needing some books to read!!! Any suggestions would be great! :) Hope everyone has had a blessed weekend!

Things We Use!

So our vacation is getting closer and today I started our packing list! Yes, I am weird like that! ;) I normally won't put EVERYTHING on it but I do like to have one to get me going! Anyways, it got me thinking about things we use everyday! There are some products/things that we use every single day! I love knowing what products other people use and love so here are some things that we can't go without!
* Crest Toothpaste! We have tried so many types of toothpaste but this seems to be the kind we always go back too!

* Coffee!!!!! Normally the first thing I want in the morning is coffee! I have several kinds that I like but here lately mom has got me started on something new! and it is yummy!!

* All Free and Clear Detergent! We have always been a Tide family but since Jagger started having all the allergy problems I decided to switch us! but I miss the smell of Tide so bad!!! ;)

* Nutella! We go through this stuff like crazy! Not a day goes by that my Jagger doesn't ask for a "chocolate sandwich"!!!

* Chocolate Milk!! My two boys LOVE chocolate milk! and we have tried getting the syrup and mixing it but NO it doesn't taste the same! are you seeing the trend here with chocolate?? We have a big sweet tooth in this house!

* NetFlix/Wii- This is defiantly something we use everyday since we got the cable turned off! I can not believe it has been a year since we have had cable! I know people think we are weird but we don't regret it one bit!

* Bath and Body Works hand soap! This a must! We have them at every sink in our house, and I have it stocked in the closet! and normally its on sale so you can't beat it!

*  Aussie Mousse! I wear my hair curly alot during the summer and the Aussie products are so awesome for curly hair! I have tried salon stuff and it all makes my hair stiff!

I know there are several more we use but I don't want to overwhlem! :) What products do you use everyday?
Hope everyone had a blessed day!

Today!!

Today was pretty boring around here! I feel like I say that a lot! :) there are just many days that we have nothing exciting going on! I'm thinking that is just part of being a stay at home mommy! We got up early this morning and early meaning 730am, which for Jagger is super early! Once I got my bearings straight, I got started on my daily chores- and when I say daily I mean daily! If I do not do laundry almost everyday then it multiplies into this crazy Mount Everest of laundry! It's nuts! How can 3 human beings go through so much laundry!??? Normally while I am putting in the 1st load of laundry, the coffee is started! So once the laundry is going, it's time to get Jagger's breakfast ready and then while he is watching cartoons and eating breakfast I do my quite time! It works out so perfect! He is happy and I am happy! :) After our morning time, we normally play in his room! But today I have been going through 16 boxes of clothes! Yes I said 16!! I'm not quite sure where they came from and it's almost embarrassing that we had that many! I am going through these boxes to get ready for consignment appointment! Our spare room is destroyed and it so funny because Jagger will find a pair of flip flops from when he is was a newborn!! I have she'd several tears through all this, especially when I found his coming home outfit!! They are grow so fast! I just can't believe they go from babies to grown!! When Matthew got home from work we went to Grandma Betty's to eat supper and swim! After supper I went and wrapped a friend! And now here we are it's 10:30 and my boys are snoozing while I'm blogging and watch Steel Magnolias (one my favorites that never gets old!!!) Even though nothing special or exciting happened today I wouldn't have changed it for the world!! God is so good! Hope everyone has a blessed night!

When We All Get To Heaven!

This week my sweet uncle Gene went to Heaven! It has been a sad and tiring week! The one song that is coming to my mind over and over is a old hymnal! ( and if you know me then you know I love old hymns!) When we all get to Heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be. When we all see Jesus we'll sing and shout for victory!! I can't help but think Uncle Gene is up there Jesus having the best time! I think that is the hardest part about death! We are happy they are in heaven but sad that we are left here, but I know one day we all be reunited! And oh what a glorious day that will be! I have had a lot of things on my mind here lately and one thing is the end times! Our preachers is doing a series on it right now! I find it very interesting and if you have not read the Left Behind books, you should! They are fantastic! But anyways, we have been at grandmas all week and she is a "newsaholic" which drives me insane! I hate the news! It's nothing but trash!! After watching the news over the last few days it's very obvious that this world is getting worse!! So back to our preacher.. In his series he talked about how natural disaster will increase, and people will just get worse-there will be no morals! On the news I'm shocked at how many killings, rapes, and all other bad things that are going on! I guess with all this my point is, my heart is so heavily burdened for all the lost people and the sense of urgency there is. I hate knowing people are choosing a world that will be no more over eternal life! Ok sorry to get off on that but it's so heavy on my heart and I needed to get it out there!!! Please keep my family in your prayers, especially my cousins and aunt because I know this week is going to be hard on them!! Hope everyone has a blessed day!

Rain!!!

Yay!! We are finally getting some rain! It has been well over a month since we have gotten a drop! I had almost forgot what it was like! I have been in constant thank you mode to God since it has started!! :) we need all we can get! So our weekend has been good!! The only complaint as the heat! It was like an oven outside the whole weekend! It was unreal! Saturday morning, Matthew played in a golf tournament so Jagger and I just hung out! I was so sad because I couldn't find my phone all morning! Well around 10am I remembered leaving it in Matthews truck! I walked outside to open the door and guess what?? It was locked and guess where the keys were? In Matthews pocket!!! :) so jagger and I were "phone less" for several phone! It was actually kind of nice! I know some people would probably go insane if they didn't have their phone for over an hour! :) when Matthew got home we had several hours before we had to get ready for the dinner and auction for the tournament ( this was a Duck's Unlimited golf tournament)! We went swimming for awhile with Jagger then came home to get ready! After what seemed like hours picking out what to wear, we finally got ready! Jagger got to hang out with Gigi for the night! When we got to the dinner, we went and sat down! I was excited because I was getting to meet Matthews very good friend Tyson's girlfriend! Her name is Micah and she is very sweet! :) plus she is an Arkansas fan! I knew we would hit it off! After our meal, the boys wanted to check their scores from the day so us girls decided to head to bathroom! When we were coming out of the bathroom I felt something weird on my shoe but didn't think anything about it, but the closer we got to the table my shoe felt really loose! ( I had one wedge sandles that had a strap between the toes then came around the ankle with a buckle!!!! And they are my favorite pair! ) I look down and the ankle strap had literally come off the shoe!!! I was like you have got to be kidding me! Matthew knew something was wrong....I tell him and we just start laughing! He says, well are you gonna be able to walk!? And in my mind I'm going, well do i just take my shoes off and go barefoot or do I just leave this one and have the strap hanging??? Then I told Matthew if we had a knife I would just cut the back strap off of both shoes and just have a slip-on. Just so happens that Tyson saved the day!!! He had a knife! I let Matthew do the duty of the cutting the strap and he did a good job! We were all cracking up by the time it was over! I'm just glad I made the best of it! :) the night was pretty much over after that! We stayed for the auction and drawings to see if Matthew won anything and of course he didn't, so I was ready to go! We had a good night and i was glad we got to go! This morning, Matthew didn't go to church because it was the last part of tournament! I had to work in the nursery so it worked out! Jagger had a good time with all the kids and at one time, he had the kids in a group teaching them how to cut snakes head off????! Seriously!!! Yes that is my child! I loved our preachers message today! It was about The End of Times! Which I think we are living in right now! I think we are very close to the return of Christ and it makes me happy!!! :) everyday this world disgusts me even more and it makes me sick to think my children would have to brought up in this! It makes me consider home schooling more and more everyday! After church we came home and did some laundry then went to Grandma Betty's! Lunch was so yummy and I was very grateful for it! Around 230 I left and went up to the nursing home in town! Our women's ministry does birthday parties for people in the nursing home! We had cake, ice cream, drinks, etc! It was so great! The lady today was 93 and she looked great!! She had lots of guests! I loved that I got to be a part of this special day! I think it is a super ministry!! When the party was over I went back to Grandma Betty's to find Matthew and Jagger asleep so I just relaxed and enjoyed Harry Potter on ABC family!! Right before supper Jagger, Grandma Betty, Cheryl and myself were sitting outside talking! grandma Betty and Jagger had walked over to get the net for the pool! grandma just starts yelling , Matthew we have a mole run get the shovel! Cheryl and I are like, "what"?? jagger had seen a mole and Grandma was holding it down while Matthew ran to get a shovel! Well in the meantime, Cheryl sticks her head in the door to get Pa! He comes running outside and him and Betty get the mole trapped under the net! Well it gets loose, Cheryl and I are screaming, Betty is yelling to throw it in the pool, pa is telling Matthew to hurry! Finally they get it and Pa goes to kill it, and Cheryl yells to remember that Jagger is out there and probably doesn't need to watch! All I see is Matthew trying to cover his eyes and Jagger is yelling saying no I want to see it! By this time the thing is finally dead and they throw it in the field! I am pretty much sick to my stomach! Moles are nasty!!!! When it was all over I could not stop laughing! Well after that excitement we eat supper and i look out the window and tell everyone how dark it is! About this time the wind is blowing and Pa Don calls and says he needs help at the farm putting tarps on everything! All the men load up in the truck and head out! The women and jagger are left behind so we go out on the patio to watch the storm! Jagger prays for rain and we are singing songs to get it to rain and when it finally does we were all so excited! Uncle David was even running out in the rain! jagger was having the best time! The whole family sat under the patio, watched the rain, and ate homemade ice cream! I love it because I know these are the memories we will remember forever! It's such a blessing! After awhile we decide to come home and call it a night and now here we are! I'm in the bedroom watching to storm and my boys are in the living room watching Cars! Life can't get much better than this! Hope everyone has had a blessed weekend!! Examine and see how good the Lord is. Happy is the person who trusts the Lord. Psalms 34.8

Brave!!!

Yesterday we went to the movies and saw Brave!!
We went with Jennifer, Mrs. Marilyn, Nolen and Blake! We had a great time! I love getting to spend time with this family! We decided to go down early and eat lunch at Burger King before going to the movies! I am glad we did this because Nolen and Jagger really enjoyed the play place! They haven't seen each other in over a week so I think that made it even more exciting for them! I really didn't know how Jagger would do in the movie because I had heard that there were a few scary parts, but he did great! I have decided what scares him is how loud it is! There are bears in the movie and there were several times he was putting his hands over his ears because the theater was SO LOUD!!! The movie is really cute and it is defiantly worth watching! I was super excited and acted almost like a kid during the previews because they showed the movie The Hobbit!

I am sure people thought I was crazy but I am a big Lord of the Rings fan and I had no idea this movie was even in the making!! I will for sure be dragging Matthew to this one! :)
Have you seen any good movies lately?
Excited!!

Playing!!

Come on Boys..time for a picture!! Seriously, stand still! NOT!!

one more time!! This is the best we could get! ;)

Ready for the movie!!
Hope everyone has a blessed night!

Happy 4th of July!!

I can NOT believe it is the 4th of July! Where has this year gone? Wow! It has flown by! We have had a great 4th. I have always loved the 4th. I love how relaxed it is. We actually started celebrating Monday. Jagger and I drove down to my grandma's. Ever since I was little my dad has taken off the whole week of the 4th. We go camping at my Uncle Rick's farm! There is tons to do down there! He has a creek that we swim in, fishing ponds, 4wheeler trails, tons of sand to dig in- It is the best place ever for little kids! Jagger loves it there because he can just run free! Dad put up a tent because Jagger wanted to camp! I was a little nervous about how Jagger would handle it because he has never camped in a tent and also we were going to be out in the woods on a huge farm! Much to my surprise he did AWESOME! There are no mosquitoes there so we can stay outside when it gets dark! Dad also has a generator that he hooked up, so we had a fan!! It was great! I even got a good night sleep!
Tuesday morning, we got up about 7 and enjoyed an awesome breakfast that my dad cooked! We stayed around for a few hours and then it was time to head back home! Matthew and I didn't really do much for our anniversary, so we got tickets to see Tracy Lawrence. The concert was Tuesday night at the casino! I was super excited! I love all of his music! By the time Jagger and I got home, we barely had time to get our bags in the house and we had to start getting ready for the concert! Jagger stayed with Gigi while we went to concert! We had a really good time! It was super hot outside, so we listened to him for about an hour and then we decided to go inside and find some food! I think the thing we enjoyed the most was getting to eat a meal and have a real conversation! Those are few and far between here! ;)
Every year on the 4th, we go to Matthew's cousins house! They have a gorgeous home on a farm! They have a little boy that Jagger loves to play with! We ate wonderful food, visited with family, swam, and watched the boys play! On the way home, Jagger fell asleep so when we got home Matthew and I took advantage and took a nap also! When we got up, we ate supper with Gigi and Pa. Jagger has been so excited about fireworks but our town has a burn ban! :( We have really bummed about it but since we love this little boy so much we all decided to go out to the farm and shoot fireworks! On the way out there, we kind of thought that the mosquitoes would not be too bad because we were going to be out in the middle of 100 acres of sand (last week it was potatoes but they are picked now!) Well guess what? Boy were we WRONG!!! They were swarming! all in your face, just everywhere! You had to be in constant movement to keep them off of you!! but it was all worth it to see Jagger's face! He loved every minute of it!
He told me on the way home he had a great 4th of July and that today was America's Birthday! He is just too sweet!
Down in the creek with Pop!!

Uncle rick digging out the sand!! Jagger thought this was amazing!

Playing in the sand!

tent up!

Enjoying homemade ice cream! a MUST on 4th of July!

so excited about fireworks!

acting goofy!!

Happy 4th!
Hope everyone had a super blessed holiday!
