Vacation Recap: Day 1 and 2!!

Hey everyone! I am so excited to be back at home and get back to the "norm"! We all fell asleep early last night- exhaustion had set in! Today was Matthew's first day of his new job! I was so happy for him.....He looked so handsome this morning!! I almost ask him if I could take his picture! hahah...First day of work picture- He would have thought I lost it! anyways....warning= these post maybe alittle long because I will write and do pictures!

Sunday the 18th - I got up and went to Sunday School...I was glad that I did because I got to talk to Jen and see her before we left! Before I left for church I ask Matthew if he would have Jagger ready and make sure the rest of the car was packed because after church we were going straight to lunch with his family! I get home around 10:45, walk in the door and guess what I find? Toys in the floor and Jagger is a bubble bath playing like he is Santa Claus! I was like WHAT in the world are yall doing? Its a good thing Jagger is so stinkin cute because it just made me smile! It was funny because at church Matthews grandma told me I would come home and nothing would be done! and she was right! Panic started to sit in....I was running around the house like a crazy person! I got the bed made, got Jagger out of the tub and clothes on and put up toys in less than 15 minutes! Wow...what you can do when you become a mommy! ;) By the time we got in the car I was sweating like I had ran a mile! After lunch, we went to Matt's grandmas house to eat birthday cake (we were celebrating her birthday) and then it was time to get on the road! We got on the road at 1:30!  Instead of driving the whole trip, we drove to Starkville, MS to spend the night with my sister-in-law..I am so grateful she let us stay with her because it made the trip much easier on Jagger! We made it to Starkville around 5:30. Jagger did great on the trip there...He watched a movie, took a short nap, and played with play-doh! (This kept him entertained for a long time!) When we got to Charlyn's, we put our bags in her apartment and then went to eat! After we ate, she took us to the Mississippi State campus to show us around! It is awesome!!! such a pretty campus! Jagger had a blast running around and he loved her office! After seeing the campus, we went to Charlyn's and just hung out! Jagger and Char played with tractors and play-doh! We finally went to bed around 10:30!!!

Monday the 19th - woke up at 6:00am! Threw on some clothes, put our bags in the car, gave Charlyn a hug and headed out!!! We made it to Orange Beach at 12:00! It worked out well because Jagger slept most of the way! When we made it to the Condo, check- in was not until 3 but since they were not busy we got to check-in! We were so excited! As soon as we got in our condo and Jagger saw the ocean from the balacany he was ready to go! We had to run to the grocery store to get a few groceries before we went to the beach! Jagger and Matthew were not happy with me about that but they got over it! and plus it was done! We got back to the condo through on some clothes and went to the beach! Jagger was jumping up and down and squealing! It was nice....not crowded at all!! We have decided we will go in September every year! Jagger loved the waves.. We stayed on the beach for several hours then we decided we would go eat supper! We went to The Oyster House. It was pretty good! I got stuffed flounder and it was really good! After supper, we went back to the condo, changed clothes and went crab hunting!! I had never been crab hunting and did not know what I was getting into! I had been on the beach at night before but never with a flashlight! I was so shocked at all the crabs!! I was terrified! Crab hunting is not my cup of tea! The boys caught 3 crabs...One was a BIG one..and Matthew let it go from the net and it took off after me! I was screaming and running around! I think I almost had a heart attack! It was not funny at the time but we have laughed so hard about it! Matthew said I looked like I was tap dancing..so now Jagger says that Mommy can tap dance! hahahha.. After all that excitement we were ready for bed! We all passed out around 10:30 and did not move a muscle all night long!!!!
